Barcelona Bench | Corbusier Furniture

This bench was created by designer Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1930, and was named for its similarity to the well-known Barcelona chair. The original design was first used in American architect, Philip Johnson’s, hallway before being presented as a part of Mies van der Rohe’s Bachelor Pad exhibit in the following year. The contemporary modern design of the Barcelona Bench will complement any room with its refined lines and luxurious Italian leather upholstery. The tufted surface provides a padded and comfortable cushion, which spans the entire length of the bench. The cushion is upholstered using the finest Italian leathers, and is attached to a solid cherry wood frame, using Italian leather upholstery straps and is supported by four tubular stainless steel legs.
