Coconut Chair | egg chair | Reproduction Furniture

The Coconut Chair was introduced in 1955 by George Nelson, one of the pioneers of the modernist design movement. Nelson envisioned and purposely designed the sides and curves of this chair to provide comfortable lounge seating. The chair is padded with a thick, medium density foam cushion, which is then completely upholstered in leather and molded into the simple, sturdy fiberglass shell.
